1929 - 2024
The Strathmore & Perthshire Cricket Union offers organised, league cricket to a vast geographical area. From Bannockburn to Aberdeenshire incorporating Fife, Perth, Dundee and Angus from April - September the SPCU gives clubs a forum in which to play.
The Strathmore Union was instituted in 1929, the Perthshire Cricket League in 1963 before amalgamating together in 2003 to form the current Strathmore & Perthshire Cricket Union.
The SPCU Senior Divisions play on Saturdays. There is also Development Leagues that play on Sundays. The North East Championship is the feeder league to the Cricket Scotland Eastern Premier League (EPL).
